Group O Earns Recognition as John Deere Partner-level Supplier

MILAN, IL – Group O has earned recognition as a Partner-level supplier for 2012 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program.
The Partner-level status is Deere & Company’s highest supplier rating. Honorees are selected based on their dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality, as well as their commitment to continuous improvement.
Group O earned Partner-level status based on the 160 packaging and containment solutions it provides to John Deere operations across 10 nationwide facilities. Group O also provides coating services to John Deere operations across nine manufacturing plants. The company provides just-in-time paint production, coating 2.3 million pieces annually with consistent 72-hour turnaround.

Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created the award in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.
